Viola Davis Delivers Powerful Oscar 2017 Acceptance Speech

Viola Davis is a very good actress who started her career on stage. She worked in many movies and dramas. Obie Award was first award that she got on her performance in Everybody's Ruby. She also won Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and became the first black lady who won this award.

Recently, Viola Davis has been award with Oscar award for her performance as Actress for Supporting Role in drama film Fences. However, she did not only win her first Oscar but also became famous because of her emotional Oscar Acceptance Speech. Before her speech, I was just listening the Oscar ceremony and was writing an article on rideshare app guide but when she started speech, I just started watching TV as well.

I am also quoting some most emotional lines from her speech. She said, "There’s one place that all the people with the greatest potential are gathered. One place. And that’s the graveyard. People ask me all the time, what kind of stories do you want to tell, Viola? And I say, exhume those bodies. Exhume those stories. The stories of the people who dreamed big and never saw those dreams to fruition." This is not just a speech but it also describes the emotions of a true artist.
